An extinction burst is a temporary increase in the frequency or intensity of a behavior when reinforcement is withheld.

This one is about pain, how people deal with its intensity. Splattered style is not really my topic but I wanted this one to hurt and capture this very intensity. The crown of thorns is symbol of a burden, the hole in the chest symbolises a missing piece, hurting, seeming impossible to fill.

Your pain won’t persist. It will get better. And until it gets better I want to encourage people to find ways of dealing with these feelings and their intensity that won’t damage you.
